Yes, we have both retail and wholesale pricing and can handle a job from 1 roll of sod all the way to multiple semi loads.

Our sod is freshly cut each day to ensure top quality, so we ask for at least one day’s notice when placing an order.
Walk-ins are welcome for smaller orders (under 200 sq. ft.) and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that during summer or on our last open day of the week, we often sell out before the end of the day. We recommend calling ahead to check availability.
When you place your order our team will get you scheduled in for a pickup time. We offer pickup times during our normal business hours. On special request we can offer pickup times outside of business hours.

Yes we offer delivery. We use both our own truck and 3rd party trucks. Based on order size and distance, we can recommend the best delivery options for you.

Our standard pallets are 70 rolls per pallet = 700 sq. ft. By request we can cut your order in different size pallets. This is a great option if you have a pickup or trailer that cannot handle the weight of our standard pallets.
1 roll = ~55lbs (+/- ~15lbs based on moisture levels)
1 pallet (700 sq. ft.) = ~4000lbs (+/- ~1000lbs based on moisture levels)
They vary but are about 4 ft. wide by 4 ft. long by 5 ft. tall.
No! Sod is perishable so we do not accept returns. Selling extra on Facebook is a great option, if you do it right away.
Since sod is perishable the sooner you lay it the better.
Spring and fall are the best times due to milder temperatures. Summer heat stresses the sod and can cause it to dry out faster.

2-3 weeks after installation. Mow a little higher than regular the first time or two
4-6 weeks after laying sod (Triple 15). 15-15-15 nitrogen/phosphorous/potassium fertilizer is recommended. (Available at McKellip Sod farm). Spring, Summer & fall 5lbs / 1000 sq ft.
If fertilizer is incorporated into the soil, it will be ok. If it is not well mixed into the soil it can burn the sod.
Yes, when they are returned within the same year we will give a full refund on each wooden pallet. We only accept our pallets because they are custom made to fit our sod harvesters.
