Specialized Installation Equipment
Using Big Rolls requires a specialized attachment for installation. This attachment makes the installation process smooth and efficient. We rent out our attachment with a $200 refundable deposit per attachment. It’s compatible with various Stand-on compact loaders and full-size skid-steers. This includes brands like Dingo, Toro, Kubota, Ditch Witch, Bobcat, and Cat.
Each Big Roll has a plastic tube core, which has a $20 refundable deposit. The tube helps keep the roll stable during transport and installation.
Efficient Tube Collection with Totes
To make tube returns hassle-free, we offer a tote for collecting empty plastic tubes. Each tote holds around 35 to 40 tubes. They are designed for vertical storage. This ensures the tubes stay secure during transport. You don’t need a deposit for the totes. This makes it easy for you to gather and return the tubes. The process also simplifies the refund process.
Pricing and Value
The cost of grass on Big Rolls varies by the type of grass. You can choose Kentucky Bluegrass Rye Blend or RTF, with pricing also depending on whether you’re buying wholesale or retail. Pricing is per square foot and matches our standard square foot pricing, making Big Rolls a great value.
Our standard sod pallets contain smaller rolls. Each roll is 2 feet by 5 feet, covering 10 sq. ft., and pallets have 700 sq. ft. of sod stacked in layers. With Big Rolls, you cover 250 sq. ft. per roll, making it faster and more efficient for large projects.
Ordering Specifications
Big Rolls are cut to order to guarantee freshness. For new orders, we need at least 5,000 sq. ft.
If we’re already cutting for another job, we can sometimes fulfill smaller orders.
